Flat Stomach – Fit and Healthy

Do you know how to determine how much stomach is too much? Here’s a simple test.

The Pinch Test:

Stand erect and pinch the roll of skin under your belly button. If your weight is normal, this roll will be very small. If you are carrying a little extra weight on your tummy, the roll of the flesh will be bigger. If you can only pinch half inch, you need to red rid of the roll by regular physical activities. You will have to implement an emergency plan which comprises exercise, diet and anti stress strategy.

Eat To Flat Tummy:

Follow the rule:

Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper. It is the universal rule to eat more in the morning and less in the evenings because your body is less active in the evening and so, more energy is stored as fats.

Little and Often:

Divide your daily intake of food into five or six even meals. Following this regularly reduces the risk of putting on weight.

Cut down on sugar:

Cut on the sugar and fats. Include complex carbohydrates and fibre in the diet.

Stock upon Vitamin C:

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a simple sugar and a powerful reducing agent. Vitamin C helps your body to work faster and harder. Fresh fruits and vegetables have plenty of this vitamin.

Less salt, more water:

Many people complain that they gain weight because of water retention. Consume fresh fruits and vegetables as they are rich in potassium. The best sources of potassium are parsley, spinach, nut, mushrooms, potatoes, beetroot and bananas.

No Smoking and Banish Alcohol:

Alcohol intake should be restricted for many more reasons than just the stomach. Consuming alcohol has many drawbacks. Smoking can make you put on weight as cigarettes are the enemies of a flat stomach.
