1. Check your computer’s operating system to be sure it can run the emulator you can find this information under System Properties in your computer’s Control Panel. Most emulators need a 1 GHz processor and 128 Mb RAM for smooth functioning.

2. Find an emulator online that’s compatible with your computer there are several options available at websites like The Emulator Zone.

3. Download the emulator there are three parts you must download in a specific order first download the emulator file, then the utility and last the PlayStation bios.

4. Open the emulator zip file and take out the files in it. Install and then run the program, but don’t play any games until you total Step 6.

5. Install the utility and the bios. Extract the utility from the zip file. The extract utility files should go in the “plug ins” folder of your emulator. After downloading the bios, place the “ .bin”  file in the bios file of your emulator. Bios are the copy of the operating file of the system you’re emulate.

6. Load a ROM for Sony PlayStation, and begin playing. Several ROMs are obtainable online, so search for one you like. A ROM file contains all the data from the game cartridge or disc you can find ROMs at The Emulator Zone and similar websites.
